Freeport High School Latin students participate in the Junior Classical League, a national organization for students of Latin. The Maine chapter holds three events each year, where students can compete in academic, athletic, and artistic challenges, as well as meet other Latin students from around the state. During our weekly Latin club meetings, we prepare for events, practice trivia, and talk about Roman history, mythology, and culture in order to deepen our knowledge of Latin in a social atmosphere.
