Modern and Classical Languages
From Latin, the language of the ancient Romans and the foundation of many modern languages, to French and Spanish, two of the world’s top ten most frequently spoken languages, the language department offers opportunities for students to expand their language skills and broaden their international and historical perspective. All three languages can be taken throughout all four years of high school, and many students take more than one.
We believe that all students can learn a foreign language. To accomplish that goal, we use a variety of teaching methods and materials and we offer substantial help and support.
